Realtime Stenographers - Red Bee Media

We are currently recruiting for freelance Realtime Stenographers to work in our Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth offices with potential to work from home in the future.

Our Realtime Stenographers provide live text streaming of university lectures and corporate teleconferences both locally and internationally.

Essential to the role are:

  • Ability to write steno-machine shorthand at minimum speeds of 180wpm
  • A conflict-free stenotype theory and dictionary
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A flexible approach to work hours

On-the-job training will be provided.

Seeking suitably qualified and experienced real time Court Reporter to assist in the delivery of quality and timely reporting and transcription services. Must have passed an approved test at around 180 words per minute using a stenotype shorthand machine. Closing date 16th March 2007.

Queensland Government Department of Justice and Attorney-General
Requires a CAT Reporter to provide a recording and transcription service of legal proceedings. Must have passed a machine shorthand test at 180 wpm at a minimum accuracy of 98%. Closing date 9th July 2007.

Offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. Recruiting Stenocaptioners to cover a wide range of programming for several networks including Channel 7, Channel Nine, Network Ten, SBS and the BBC. They also provide live text streaming of university lectures and teleconferences. Seeking freelancers plus full-time and part-time permanent staff. The positions require a flexible approach to work hours and a high degree of proficiency in machine shorthand skills. A competitive salary based on skills and experience, paid leave.
